They drove up on Saturday evening and the kids had a blast. Alisa and I had a bottle of wine and caught up on some much needed Adult CONVERSATION!! We all went to bed after 10 and all seemed to sleep pretty well. In the morning the kids played a little wii while we packed up the car and we were off to NW trek . Its a good hour drive so with a few pitstops we made it there..............And it was CLOSED! They got a few inches of snow and it was too much for the tram to drive on. So we ened up pulling off on a side street and had a car Picnic! =) The kids were watching different dvd's (Sound of music, BOLT) We headed back to Oly when we decided to check out Tolmie State Park. So glad we did!! Its beautiful with walking trails and a beach. It was low tide so we were playing with the clams and mud. As we walked closer to the water we were finding more Sand dollars. As we got all the way up to the water they were EVERYWHERE!!! It was really wierd... But we snagged a few dead ones and Headed home. We had a great time as usual and look forward to our next trip!=) HOpe u guys enjoy the pictures~
